2013 Hot Floral Trend: Garlands

The past trends of tall centerpieces and clusters of old bottles with a few flowers are falling away to lower, fuller centerpieces in beautiful silver and gold containers. But another trend blooming (excuse the pun) in the market that has us SUPER excited is: the garland.

We have seen the ribbon garlands, the pennant garlands, and other various "DIY" garlands. However, the one that is exciting us is the floral garland. We have seen a few designers show us abundant floral garlands running the length of a dining table, but these artistic and lush looks are becoming more streamlined and available for brides. (It is definitely a personal favorite for a fresh look.)

There are tons of great uses and reasons to incorporate a garland into your wedding design. Garlands offer a great versatility compared to the typical centerpiece. They can be ran along a table as a centerpiece, can be draped on the backs of chairs, placed on stairwells, and hung from chandeliers. And they have the ability to reflect any style and can be made from various materials and flowers.

We hope you enjoy a few examples that have inspired us, and think about how to incorporate this amazing design in your wedding!

Enjoy!
