Peach and Periwinkle Wedding at Pratt Place Barn
Photographer: Corrie Childers
In 2016, Pantone (the world renowned color service) chose 2 shades as their Color(s) of the Year. Rose quartz, a soft blush pink, and Serenity, a dusty light blue. Flash forward to now and these two tones are now dazzling the wedding scene! This lovely event at Pratt Place Inn featured a take on Pantone’s colors with peach and periwinkle!
For the bridal bouquet, I used light blush roses, ranunculus, and dahlias for the Rose Quartz and pale blue eryngium for the Serenity! Combined with fresh green foliage, the combo was modern but still very bridal. The groom’s boutonniere featured a stunning peach ranunculus bloom and an eryngium bud to mirror the bouquet. It looks amazing next to his blue suit!
To tie it all together, I decorated the cake with an array of peachy, coral booms from roses to carnations to hypericum berries! It was a colorful, but classic day. Enjoy the photos by Corrie Childers below.
P.S. This was one of our first COVID weddings where we had to adjust to our new world. Smaller wedding never means smaller or less fabulous flowers! Flexibility is KEY and we are proud to bring that to all our events.
