On a sunny and bright day in Little Rock, Arkansas a group of talented Wedding and Event Vendors came together for the Design Show Event of the summer: Fleur de Muse. Organized by the lovely PR Guru Meredith Corning, it was an all out extravaganza of talent that centered around a fabulous fashion show. We partnered with Tess of Couture by Tess and Paul of QClothier who curated the wardrobe for the models. We also had the pleasure of designing a collection of wearable floral art pieces for the models and setting the stage with a grand floral installation.

For our two bridal models, we designed two distinct looks. Our boho princess bride donned a romantic flower crown + bouquet set filled with red garden roses and burgundy scabiosa, and lavender dendrobium orchids. Our modern chic bride carried an open style bouquet filled with White O’Hara Garden Roses, pink carnations, and blue-tinted plumosa. She also wore a stunning bracelet piece which wrapped orchids around her arm like a trailing vine.

Our menswear inspired models featured an array of unique floral accessories. From a statement necklace, to an anklet; from a nosegay bouquet to a floral accented clutch, everywhere you looked there was a piece of floral art for your eyes to feast on! We used different floral textures and colors to complement each model and their look.

The male models featured two new styles of boutonnieres we love. One was a large collar-piece that draped over our model's shoulders and sat on his lapels. The other was similar to a traditional boutonniere as it sat on one side of the gent’s lapel, but it was larger and featured a mosaic of flowers. We can’t wait to get to design one of these for a lucky groom out there!

Finally, we created a cascading floral installation for the staircase for the models to walk through. 4 open arches framed the stairs as they walked and then 2 large pieces sat at the foot of the staircase. We kept the style open and organic to match the fairytale vibe of our wonderful venue, The Castle on Stagecoach.
