Blush and Burgundy Romantic Wedding
Photographer: Elizabeth Salazar
There’s just something about blush and burgundy that always makes for such a romantic wedding. Jennie and David’s special day was no exception. For Jennie’s bouquet, we used beautiful cream peonies, White O’Hara garden roses, and Hearts Garden roses to create a full, semi-organic fairytale bouquet. For David’s bout, we created a pop of color against his blue suit with blush carnations and a red garden rose. 3 sweet coordinating nosegays bouquets were carried by the bridesmaids—they looked lovely with their blush dresses!
For the ceremony, we designed 3 burgundy toned altarpieces and pew flowers to match. For the reception, the cake was decorated with a gorgeous cascade of spray roses, carnations, and foliage.
The couple took photos at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable and held their reception at Metroplex. It was a princess wedding if their ever was one! So timeless and beyond sweet.
Check out the amazing images captured by Elizabeth Salazar below! See how her warm and airy editing style (which we LOVE!) captures the flowers differently than our studio photos. Lighting makes a huge difference in floral colors and we always enjoy seeing how each event and each photographer captures their artistic vision of the pieces!
