Soft Blush and Sage Wedding at The Garden Room

There’s some events that are so sweet and timeless that they just make you smile! Especially when they have a floral accented donut wedding cake! Michael and Rebecca’s big day at The Garden Room in Fayetteville was certainly one to remember.

Rebecca showed me pictures of blush roses, crisp green dollar eucalyptus and a floral adorned dessert bar, and we immediately started dreaming up all the ways to make her ideas special to her day. For her bouquet, we used gorgeous blush Garden Roses, blush ranunculus, and white stock. What really makes this color palette sing is using different shades of green to add dimension! Italian Ruscus, dollar eucalyptus, and dusty miller brought Rebecca’s bouquet together. For the bridesmaid’s, we designed bouquets to mirror the bride’s, but with a touch more blush in the form of more roses. They looked amazing with the ladies’ pale sage dresses! For the finishing touch, Michael’s bout featured a sweet blush ranunculus bloom.

We designed 2 different types of centerpieces for the reception to give the event dimension. For the first, we weaved trailing Italian Ruscus in between white bud vases of varying heights. We filled the vases with an assortment of individual blooms of ranunculus, roses, and stock. For the second, a sweet, lush arrangement designed with these same flowers was framed by more Italian Ruscus and dollar eucalyptus.

Over the sweetheart table was a fun open balloon arch with cream and muted pink balloons. To tie the room together, we accented the arch and the table with even more Italian Ruscus and eucalyptus. (Are you sensing a theme here?) It was my favorite balloon piece we’ve ever gotten to design with and is something I’ll never forget.

If you thought the balloon arch was cool, the dessert bar was the truly the star of the show!! A 2 tier wedding cake was accented with lush blush roses and carnations. The 4 tiered donut cake was topped with an accenting floral topper and we tucked dollar eucalyptus delicately into the base. Coordinating arrangements and bud vases finished the look. Truly the SWEETEST wedding ever on multiple levels!
