White Long Stem Rose Wedding at Willow Brooke Farm

Photos by: Madeleine Lipetska Photography

This past year, I began teaching Introduction to Floral Design at the University of Arkansas. I love teaching in any capacity and I love sharing the amazing art of floral design so my classes have become the highlight of my week. Shelby originally signed up for my class in hopes of designing her own wedding florals, but by the end of the semester she decided to ask me to design a few key pieces so she could relax day of! Her and Payton’s nuptials were at the beautiful Willow Brooke Farm; I couldn’t wait to be a part of my student’s day.

For her bouquet, Shelby wanted a modern long-stem rose bouquet. This style is simple and classic, but it requires technique to perfect. I carefully arranged these beautiful white long stem roses in the most perfect shape and size to accompany Shelby’s gorgeous fit and flare sweetheart neck dress. Her bridesmaid’s wore ruffle-accented latte colored dresses and carried smaller versions of her own long-stemmed masterpiece. As a finishing touch, the flower girls wore matching custom gypsophila crowns.

For the ceremony, we designed a lovely mixed foliage and white floral piece that lusciously ran along the top of the arbor. Roses, gypsophila, and eucalyptus brought the romance and complemented the beautiful scenic backdrop. The photographer even got a picture of us designing on site. :)

For the reception, drumroll please, Shelby designed her gorgeous hydrangea, gypsophila, and tulip centerpieces! Words can’t express how proud I was. Mentorship means so much and to see it come to life for Shelby and Payton’s special day was the piece de resistance.

Madeleine Lipetska Photography captured this sweet day fantastically. Enjoy the snaps below!
