Ordering a la Carte Wedding Flowers FAQs

  • Orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance of your wedding date.

  • All flowers are designer's choice, but you are welcome to let us know about any flower allergies that we should avoid.

  • SIGNATURE COLLECTION: Choose 1 primary color and 1 accent color

WILDFLOWER COLLECTION: Available in either pastel or bright color mix

LOCAL FLOWERS COLLECTION: Colors and flower varieties are based on seasonal availability and are designer's choice

  • Delivery is not available for A La Carte Wedding Flowers. All orders must be picked up Monday through Friday at our studio.

  • Most flowers will last 5+ days when properly cared for, so picking up on Friday for a weekend wedding works perfectly! Our flowers arrive fresh from our suppliers and are properly hydrated before being arranged. We provide travel vases for bouquets and boxes for wearables along with written instructions for your specific pieces. To keep your flowers looking their best:

    • Store all arrangements and bouquets in a cool room (60-65°F is best). These pieces do not need to be stored in a refrigerator.

    • Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat vents, and air conditioning units

    • For bouquets and arrangements, check the water daily and mist lightly if needed.

    • For wearable pieces (like corsages): store in their container in the refrigerator (but away from the freezer!)

Flowers for the Wedding Party FAQs

  • The number of people who receive flowers typically depends on your wedding's formality level and your budget. Here's a breakdown:

    For formal weddings:

    • The wedding couple

    • Wedding party (Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Jr. Attendants, Flower girls & Ring Bearers)

    • Immediate family (Parents, Step Parents, Grandparents, Godparents, Siblings)

    • Special helpers (Family friends or relatives helping significantly)

    For semi-formal weddings:

    • The wedding couple

    • Wedding party (Bridesmaids, Groomsmen)

    • Immediate family (Parents, Step Parents, Grandparents)

    For casual weddings:

    • The wedding couple

    • Wedding party (Bridesmaids, Groomsmen)

    • Those with ceremonial roles (e.g., Father escorting the bride)

Of course, this is just a suggestions - flowers are to honor the people important to you!

    • Military members in uniform

    • Hired vendors (officiant, wedding planner, etc.)

  • We don't recommend ordering boutonnieres, pocket squares, or lapel flowers if jackets won't be worn. These pieces are specifically designed for suit/tux jackets and won't look correct or stay properly secured on regular shirts.

  • Absolutely! Our bridal bouquets are designed to be 15-18" across, while attendant bouquets are 12-15" across. Choose the size that best suits your frame and budget!

Ceremony & Reception Flower FAQs

  • For most weddings, you can calculate this by dividing your total guest count by 8, since most tables (both round and rectangular) seat 8 guests.

Example: For a wedding with 150 guests (including the wedding party), you would need approximately 19 centerpieces.

  • Our vases and compote centerpieces are designed to cover 12-15" of your table surface.

  • For round tables:

    • Minimum recommendation: 5 bud vases (covers 12-15" of table center)

    • Full look: 8-10 bud vases

    • With candles: Minimum 3 bud vases (though 5+ preferred)

    For rectangular tables:

    • Option 1: 1-2 bud vases per linear foot

    • Option 2: Three clusters of 2 vases or two clusters of 3 vases, alternating with candles

  • Ceremony decor is highly customized to each venue and couple's preferences. While we're working on standardized options, we currently handle ceremony flowers through custom quotes. Please note:

    • Basic ceremony arrangements typically start at $250+

    • Arbors and large installations require on-site design and setup - these are available through our full-service wedding packages only
