With the recent COVID-19 restrictions on the size of gatherings, our wedding couples have had to make drastic changes in their wedding plans. Rather than postponing the entire event, we’re seeing a lot of Micro- and Small Wedding Ceremonies. While some couples have decided to have a larger reception after restrictions are lifted, others have decided to just go small.

But small weddings don’t mean plain, boring or undecorated! We believe EVERY wedding for EVERY couple should be beautifully decorated—no matter what size of the wedding you’re hosting. :)

This beautiful couple knew that flowers would help complete the look for their small summer wedding. They picked a gorgeous, summery peach color palette and several key florals.

The bride’s classic round bouquet was filled with peach roses, peach hypericum berries, lisianthus, dusty miller, eucalyptus, and Italian ruscus. She also chose a lovely rose & foliage hair comb to accent her up-do. And the groom chose coordinating peach spray roses. (Don’t they look wonderful next to his blue suit!)

Both the ceremony & reception were held at a private family home. While this wedding was last year, we’ve seen quite a few ‘backyard weddings’ this year. And we’ve found that they are intimate and beautiful events.

For this ceremony, we designed an arbor accent piece with peach roses and foliage. Arbor pieces make a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and wedding photos. And for the reception, we added touches of foliage and flowers to the tables and beautiful roses for the delicious wedding cake.

Check out the stunning photos below from Cindy & Emily Photography. Can’t you just feel the love between this couple as they celebrate their wedding day surrounded by their closest family and friends?!
