Organic Purple + Red Wedding Flowers
Photos: Trinity Ridge
This day was so sweet and special because I got to design for one of NWA’s amazing wedding photographers, Nicole, of Trinity Ridge. Nicole and Nigel rescheduled their wedding a few times due to Covid and when it was finally on, it ended up being last minute! Luckily, everything I had on hand aligned with Nicole’s original color palette perfectly and I designed the most lovely bouquet and bout for their wedding.
For the bouquet, Nicole brought me pictures purples mixed with reds with accents of blue. This is a color palette I’ve offered for a few years on Valentine’s Day that we call PASSION! It’s a modern take on your classic reds and pinks. I used lavender roses, burgundy carnations, and fluffy peach stock to harken back to traditional romance. And then we added blue eryngium, purple orchids, and peach hypericum berry to make everything pop! For Nigel’s boutonniere, we artfully arranged a purple orchid, burgundy mini carnations, and an eryngium bud. It looked amazing next to his blue suit and complemented Nicole’s bouquet in the perfect way.
I love getting to design for my fellow vendors! It’s one of the best parts of what I do and I’m so honored to be chosen!
As mentioned, Trinity Ridge photographed this lovely event! Take a look at the magical images below.
