Wednesday: What's In It?
For Shannon’s bouquet, we used White Ashley Garden Roses, stock ranunculus, and anemones. To add texture, we intertwined dollar eucalyptus and seeded eucalyptus with the fluffy blooms! Blue delphinium added the perfect touch of something blue to bring the whole bouquet together.
Inspiration vs. Interpretation: Classic White Round Bouquet with Something Blue
I ask almost every client for inspiration photos during the creative process. It helps me understand exactly what they are envisioning for their wedding. When Shannon reached out and asked me to dessign for her and Brent’s intimate nuptials at Cooper Chapel, she actually brought me a picture of my own design! I was so flattered! She loved everything about it, but wanted to add a touch of something blue.
Passionate Purple Wedding at Cooper Chapel
When Jennifer and Bronwyn came to me with a vision of purples, lavenders, and burgundies for their wedding at the gorgeous Cooper Chapel, I was beyond excited! Selfishly, purple is my favorite color and even Rose of Sharon’s brand colors are purple! Plus, I always love designing 2 bouquets for 2 brides because it’s an exercise in floral pieces being unique, but complementary.
Whimsical Jewel Tone Wedding at Cooper Chapel
One of my favorite color palettes to work with is something I call multicolor. Now that does not mean rainbow (unless you want it to,) instead it means a variety of colors usually in a similar color tone family. For her summer wedding, Sally came to me looking for a whimsical mix of seasonal blooms in deep, rich jewel tones. I loved her vision and was excited to bring the ROS flare to it.
Inspiration vs. Interpretation: Timeless White Rose Bouquet
I ask almost every client for inspiration photos during the creative process, purely so that I can get a visual feel for their vision. When Polly reached out and asked me to dessign for her upcoming elopment at Cooper Chapel, she brought me lovely photos of white and ivory bouquets with anemone accents.I love anemones so I was excited to start designign!
