Festive Winter Wedding at Stone Chapel at Mattlane Farm
Photographer: Photo Love
The Holiday season is upon us! And there’s nothing more festive than a Holiday-inspired wedding. This lovely couple took advantage of the fact that their big day fell a few days before Christmas and incorporated some nods to the season throughout their event.
Let’s start with color palette: the classic red, white, and green. It says love and romance and ALSO says holiday. To keep things feeling holiday inspired without feeling like Christmas we kept the foliage fresh and green with no hints of pine or holly to be found. For the Bride’s bouquet, I used red Hearts garden roses, blush standard & spray roses, purple scabiosa, Italian ruscus, acacia foliage, seeded and dollar eucalyptus. The organic style and shape complemented her sweet lace dress. To provide contrast, I used blush and white roses with an array of foliage for the maids’ bouquets.
The altar at the lovely Stone Chapel at Mattlane Farm was decorated with an array of loose foliage and rose blooms. For the reception, each table featured a tall, white lantern surrounded by loose foliage and tea lights. Finally, the cake was an absolute star, accented with red and light blush roses and a fabulous gold cake topper. The holidays never looked so good! Don’t take my word for it, check out the images by Photo Love Photography below and see for yourself!
