Planning a wedding in the time of COVID-19 presents many challenges. Most couples have had to adjust their plans or reschedule their big day while some couples have chosen to have a small wedding instead of a larger event. We've decorated quite a few of these small weddings and minimonies this spring and summer and this wedding is a prime example.

This couple chose gorgeous blush blooms in an organic style to accent their special day. They chose key pieces like bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, boutonnieres for the groom & groomsmen, flowers for the parents, accents for the cake, a few centerpieces and flowers for their arbor.

I used soft white and blush blooms like peonies, astilbe, ranunculus, anthurium, and roses for the bride’s romantic bouquet. The bridemaid’s bouquets were a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet. We designed a couple of elegant compote centerpieces and decorated the cake with simple flower and foliage accents. The arbor accented with flowers and foliage created a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and photographed beautifully.

Check out the images below and come back for tomorrow’s post detailing all the flowers used in this gorgeous bridal bouquet!
