Toffee Rose and Dried Flower Wedding at Chapel on the Creeks
Photos by: The Photo Love
Something I love observing is how neutral wedding flowers evolve over the years. There’s everlasting white and green for sure, but other more neutral colors trend in and out of fashion. This year, a toffee/cappucino colored rose is becoming popular and I love it for any time of year. For Karah and Jordan’s wedding at Chapel on The Creeks, they wanted toffee roses with dried floral accents and I couldn’t wait to get designing!
For Karah’s bouquet, we used a mix of ‘Toffee’ standard roses and ‘Sahara Sensation’ (a latte color) spray roses to bring that warm feeling she was looking for. The finishing touches were a pop of white ranunculus, beautiful green foliage, and dried floral accents like cute bunny tails. It paired with her lace dress beautifully! The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet and they popped next to the girls mauve and rust dresses.
For the gents, we designed mini-toffee masterpiece bouts featuring ‘Sahara Sunset’ roses and dried flowers. The orange-y hue of the flowers complemented their blue suits perfectly since blue and orange are opposite each other on the color wheel!
