This year, the Pantone Color of the Year—Peach Fuzz—has been center stage for weddings! It brings a softness and romance to any wedding palette and harmonizes beautifully with rich blues and elegant cream accents. For Megan and Landon’s Summer nuptials at Sassafras Springs Vineyard, we brought this vision of warmth and sophistication to live in a Peach Fuzz dream!
For Megan’s bouquet, we used an array of delicate flowers to create a lush, semi-organic bouquet. Blue delphinium, White O’Hara Garden Roses, peach spray roses, and cream lisianthus were artfully arranged to complement her fit and flare gown. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bride’s and they looked perfect next to their different shades of pale blue dresses. For Landon’s bout, we used white and peach spray roses and accenting delphinium sprays to pair with his navy suit. The groomsmen sported smaller bouts in the same colors.
For the ceremony, we let Sassafras Springs Vineyard’s beautiful ceremony space speak for itself! We designed 4 full arrangements to sit on 4 gold stands at the altar. Blue hydrangeas, white roses, Italian Ruscus, and plumosa were crowned with tall sprigs of delphinium for height.
For the reception, we adorned the tables with a combination of bud vases filled with blue and peach blooms and then smaller versions of our ceremony arrangements. White spray roses, delphinium, and hydrangeas dazzled in clear compotes. The final touch: two gorgeous cakes by Shelby Lynn’s Cake Shoppe! A wedding cake with a gorgeous, floral topper that harkened back to Megan’s bouquet. Then, a groom’s cake featuring a Hog topper and eucalyptus accents.
