Luxe Pink and Peach Wedding in Eureka Springs
Photos: Sean McNeil
When Sherry and Jerry came to me to design their wedding at Eureka Springs beautiful Thorncrown Chapel, I was beyond excited. They are both architects so they wanted their wedding flowers to complement the stunning beauty of the E. Fay Jones designed marvel. To learn a little more about how these two architects fell in love, check out our feature on Wedding Chicks! Now let’s dig a little deeper into the floral details…
Sherry’s favorite flower is the orchid and she wanted to pay tribute to her late mother by incorporating roses and peach. For her stunning cascading bouquet, we used orchids, roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, and calla lillies in shades of blush, peach, and cream with a hint of magenta to top it off. The bridesmaids carried coordinating round bouquets featuring similar blooms. The pinks and whites popped against the ladies’ dark green dresses.
For the reception at the historic Crescent Hotel, we designed one high and one low centerpiece to add drama to the room. The tall centerpiece was arranged on a harlot stand and featured peach roses, white phalaenopsis orchids, and lush green ferns that brought a almost tropical feeling. The low centerpieces harkened back to the bridesmaids bouquets and were designed in glass compute vases. Each one was accented by an amazing 3D printed wedding motif the couple designed together.
